Well, having never written a blog before and being a bit unsure if I should focus on my personal journey as a new business owner or to focus on up-to-date news, articles and interesting information in the "Baby Industry" I am admittedly at a bit of a loss.  So I guess I'm going to keep this very first blog post pretty basic and just go from there.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the friends, family and co-workers who have helped and supported me throughout this whole website development saga.  There are still some kinks to be worked out and lots more inventory to add but it's a work in process and the most important step has been taken.

I hope you find this website an easy to use and enjoyable site.  We were striving for as close to the retail experience as possible.

The New Zealand Connection

We have quite a few people who ask us about our logo.  Well, my husband is from New Zealand and we have referenced a couple of their national symbols in our logo.  The green swirly thing in the "o" of our name is called a Koru and is the New Zealand/Maori symbol for new life...it is a fiddlehead.  Also, if you were to flip the outline of the walking feet over, you would have the outline of the Silver Fern, which is New Zealand's national symbol.

I think I'm going to end this very first blog post here.  I hope to get more interesting and prolific as time goes by.

Thanks for taking the time to follow us along our journey.
